Below Zero - Winter Wildlife Ecology Educator Workshop

This hands-on workshop is for K-12+ educators (formal, non-formal, homeschool, youth group leaders. etc) who would like to learn new ways to incorporate winter wildlife ecology into their lessons. Workshop attendees will learn about the different strategies New Hampshire's wildlife employ to survive the winter months.

All participants will receive the Below Zero Curriculum book, published by the Canadian Wildlife Federation, and a 4-hour professional development training certificate.

This workshop is cosponsored by New Hampshire Environmental Educators (NHEE: www.nhee.org). Registering for this workshop will get you a membership to this organization! (Reduced cost if you are already a member.)

WHEN: Tuesday, February 10, 2026 10:00am - 2:00pm

WHERE: Living Shores Aquarium, 850 NH Route 16, Glen, NH 

COST: $40 - You get a membership to NHEE with your registration! If you are already a 2026 member of NHEE, the cost of this workshop is only $10. Instructions on how to pay will be emailed to you after you register. 

LUNCH: The Aquarium Bistro is providing lunch options for purchase ahead of time. More information will be emailed to you after you register. You can also bring your own bag lunch. 

And yes - we will have time to explore the aquarium!
