FUNdamentals of Fly-Fishing
Ready to cast your line and discover a new passion? Join us for a fun and engaging introduction to fly fishing! This hands-on course covers the essentials, including fly-fishing gear, fish identification, trout foods and the flies that imitate them, plus how to locate fish in streams and still waters, practice proper etiquette, and develop your casting skills.
Sponsored by the NH Fish and Game “Let’s Go Fishing” Program and the Pemigewasset Chapter of Trout Unlimited, this program is led by certified fly-fishing instructors in partnership with the Waterville Valley Recreation Department.
We’ll keep you fueled with coffee and donuts, and provide all the equipment you need to get started. Just bring your lunch and your enthusiasm! Participants are also welcome to bring their own gear.
Spots are limited, and the cost is just $10 per participant—don’t miss your chance to get hooked on fly fishing!
