The Ice Fishing class will start their day at Owl Brook Hunter Education Center, and then participants are responsible for driving their own vehicles (about 6 miles) to White Oak Pond in Holderness, NH. Participants will remain at the pond for the rest of the day, departing from White Oak Pond.
Classes are held in most weather conditions. Please reserve Sunday February 22 as a back-up date in case of severe weather. You will be notified by email if we postpone or cancel due to severe weather. Keep an eye on your junk mail and regular email. Come dressed to be outdoors with proper winter clothing. Layers are the best for winter weather.
An event email will be sent in the days following registration. This will include any class specific information. The event is an all-day session with five class choices. Please sign up for ONE class.
If you have questions please contact Madeline, at madeline.a.zukowski@wildlife.nh.gov
