Wild in NH Workshop - Spring Workshop

Part 2 of 4 - Workshop Series for Educators

This workshop series is ideal for K-12 educators that are already involved with a NHFG program (ie. Trout in Classroom, trained in Project WILD)

In this workshop, educators will immerse themselves in the outdoors while exploring vernal pools. Participants will gain hands-on field experience using the Vernal Pool Reporting Program and discover why these unique habitats are essential for a healthy ecosystem. Beyond scientific data collection, we will also introduce creative ways to engage youth with vernal pools and amphibians, including nature journaling and showcasing their experiences into interactive ArcGIS Story Maps.

WHEN: Friday, May 9, 2025, 9:00am - 3:30pm

WHERE: TL Storer Scout Reservation, Barnstead, NH

COST: $30.00 (instructions on how to pay will be emailed to you after you register)

Lunch will be provided.
