General Class Information

FUNdamentals of Fly-Fishing.  A basic introduction to fly fishing, covering fly fishing gear, fish identification, trout foods and the flies that imitate them, how to locate fish in streams and still waters, fly-fishing etiquette, and fly-casting.

This course is sponsored by the NHFG Let's Go Fishing Program and the Pemigewasset Chapter of Trout Unlimited and is taught by certified NHFG fly-fishing instructors. 

Coffee and donuts, along with all necessary fly fishing equipment will be provided.  Students should bring their own lunch and are encouraged to bring their own equipment if they wish.

A $10 fee is charged to cover the cost of the facility.
