General Class Information
This February, educators of students in grades K - 12 can participate in a virtual Below Zero professional development workshop. In this workshop you will learn how to incorporate winter ecology, nature, wildlife, and science activities into your classroom. All participants will receive the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s Below Zero Activity Guide.
This course is 2-parts – self-paced online modules and a zoom meeting. (There is no in-person meeting.)
The first part is a self-paced google classroom with several modules that you will complete on your own time. You will be given access to the google classroom starting on February 1 and will have until February 19 to complete this part of the course.
The second part of the course is a LIVE Zoom meeting. There are two choices for this part of the course, either Wednesday, February 17, 4pm or Friday, February 19, 10am. You will get the link for this meeting in the google classroom.
The cost for this workshop is only $10.00! Thanks to a donation from the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of NH, we've been able to keep the cost very low for this workshop!
After you register for the workshop you will get an email from Lindsay confirming your registration and the link to pay the fee.
Below Zero is a Canadian Wildlife Federation education program.
