General Class Information
WELCOME:
Congratulations on taking the first step to your lifelong enjoyment of the hunting sports! Our goal is that you not only graduate but that you leave with solid foundations in firearm safety, hunting and outdoor skills.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Please Review the Course Syllabus in the links.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Monday evening ONLY will be held in the clubhouse of the Pemi Fish and Game Club Beede Road in Holderness NH.
Saturday and Sunday classes will be held at Owl Brook Hunter Ed Center in Holderness, NH.
PARENTAL APPROVAL FORM: If a student is under 18 years old a signed parental approval form must be handed in on Monday evening.
COURSE FEE: A course fee of five ($5) dollars is to be paid prior to the completion of the course.
STUDENTS NEEDING SPECIAL ACCCOMMODATIONS: Please contact Bruce Hamel, Chief Instructor, by May 7th 2010 at the contact information provided.
ATTIRE: Monday evening will be spent entirely in a classroom. Saturday and Sunday will feature several outdoor sessions. Please come prepared with proper attire and footwear (ie no flip flops) as you will be outside rain or shine and hot or cold!
LUNCH / SNACKS: Bring your own lunch, drinks and snacks on Saturday and Sunday.
ENTIRE COURSE: You must attend all three sessions and pass the exam to graduate.
FIREARMS: Leave all personal firearms at home. They are NOT PERMITTED in Owl Brook facilities. This applies even if you have a carry permit!
COME WITH A POSITIVE ATTITUDE. YOU WILL HAVE FUN AND LEARN A LOT!
PLEASE ARRIVE 10 TO 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START OF EVERY CLASS.
